Back when Parents Against CPS Corruption was just starting out, we were getting eaten alive- but we had already gone too far to turn back. Each day we set out to fight a losing war. We had nothing. We were penniless. We had no support- our families had abandoned us, our friends (what was left of them) wanted nothing to do with our cause. Everyone called us crazy.  Parents Against CPS Corruption:   Just a quick look at this cycle of life, from a this bird's point of view, I liked it. One late February afternoon, the San Francisco Bay View newspaper sent me an email.  “We want to help. Without more attention, this is a problem that will only get worse...” Parents Against CPS Corruption:   Just a quick look at this cycle of life, from a this bird's point of view, I liked it. Had never taken the time to look at this form of living ever. You? Mary Ratcliff guided me as I learned how to become a journalist. Teaching me to pull out the story and pull on the heartstrings, urging me to dive deeper and tell more comprehensive stories. Her advice was all spot on.  After I had no response from the first article, she sent me inspirational emails that brought tears to my eyes. In these emails she shared anecdotes of loss, adversity, persistence, and triumph. “They threw us to the wolves, and we came back as a P.A.C.C. Alone, we’re nobodies. Together, we’re a movement. Stand together. Rise up. Take back our children.

“I remember when we couldn’t get anyone to come out to protest a police shooting.”  She also shared an story about a lone woman who came out regularly (daily was it?) to the steps of City Hall to protest police shootings even though her son had not, but could be, killed.  Had it not been for the San Francisco Bay View, I would have quit back in March.  My articles circulate in the prisons, and I receive letters from the prisons and phone calls from mothers.  Parents Against CPS Corruption:   Just a quick look at this cycle of life, from a this bird's point of view, I liked it. Rise up. Take back our children.

My articles also circulate in the communities and throughout San Francisco CPS and among nonprofits that work with families impacted by CPS.  In September of this year, our group forced the resignation of a corrupt judge, Judge Nancy Davis of the San Francisco Superior court. We have grown far beyond I️ ever imagined, and I believe that with time, we may one day make real and lasting progress. Parents Against CPS Corruption:   Just a quick look at this cycle of life, from a this bird's point of view, I liked it.  The Bay View did this for us, gave us this forum and much needed encouragement because they truly believe in our cause and want progress. I can only imagine how many causes the SF By View has bolstered over the years.  Please donate, share, or advertise in the SF Bay View. There is no cause more worthy.  https://www.gofundme.com/keep-the-bayview-newspaper-in-print  Parents Against CPS Corruption:   Just a quick look at this cycle of life, from a this bird's point of view, I liked it.
